π 7. Connected Accounts β Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube
If you choose to connect an account under My Dashboard β Connected Accounts, you authorise piXelmart to use accounts you already own, only within the permissions you approve on the platform’s own permission screen. It is optional, and you decide which accounts and which Facebook Page are included.
What we read.
- Facebook β the Pages you administer and the Business that owns them; for the Page you choose, its name, category, follower count, recent posts, its reach and engagement figures (Page Insights), and the comments on its recent posts.
- Instagram β the professional account linked to that Page: its username, follower and post counts, reach, views and interactions, the comments on its recent posts, and aggregated audience figures (the share of followers by city, age band and gender β never a list of people).
- Facebook and Instagram lead forms β the enquiries people submit through lead ads on the Page you chose (typically name, phone number, email, city and their answers), so they reach your Leads list on piXelmart.
- Google Business Profile β the business locations you manage, their reviews and ratings, and how complete each profile is.
- YouTube β your channel, its subscriber count, and the public performance figures for your videos.
What we do on your behalf β only when you allow it.
- Publishing. A post is published to the Page you chose and its linked Instagram account only while you have turned on Let piXelmart publish approved posts, and only after a person has approved that post. You can turn this off at any time.
- Replying to comments. A reply is posted to a comment on your Page or Instagram only when you write it, or when your piXelmart expert writes it while you have publishing turned on. Nothing is posted automatically.
What we do not do. We never see your password. We do not read your private or direct messages, or your email. We do not create, change or pay for advertisements through this connection. We do not sell or rent this information to anyone, we share it only as described under Who else processes it below, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Why we use it. To show you reports on your own digital presence, to carry out the marketing work you asked piXelmart to do, and to bring your enquiries into one place. It is shown to you and to the piXelmart staff and expert working on your account. On a creator’s or influencer’s public listing, their own measured figures are shown only if they choose to make their listing public.
What we store. One encrypted authorisation token per connected account, held against your piXelmart account, together with the date you connected; the leads that reach your Leads list, until you or we delete them; a record of each post and reply sent on your behalf (what, where and when); and dated snapshots of your figures for your reports. Comments are read when you open them and are not kept. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are never sent to your browser or to any third party.
Removing it. Disconnect YouTube yourself under Connected Accounts and its stored authorisation is deleted at once. Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile carry the work your piXelmart expert does for you, so piXelmart disconnects those on your request and deletes the stored authorisation. You can also revoke our access directly from Facebook, Instagram, Google or YouTube, and you can ask us to delete everything we hold at pixelmart.in/data-deletion/.
Who else processes it. When you ask piXel AI to draft your profile from your YouTube channel, your channel’s name, description and figures are sent to our AI provider (Groq, Inc.) only to write that draft. They are not used to train any model, and nothing else received from Google is sent to any third party.
How it is protected. It travels only over HTTPS. Your authorisation token is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and never sent to your browser. Only you and the piXelmart staff and expert working on your account can see your figures.
How long we keep it. Your authorisation token is kept until you disconnect the account. The figures we save for your reports are kept while your account is open, and are deleted within 30 days after you disconnect and ask us to delete them, or after your account is closed.
Google Limited Use. piXelmart’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, and we do not transfer it except as necessary to provide or improve the feature you asked for, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.
